Rustika särpräglade ornamentsformer med tydliga inlägg av hjärtformen kännetecknar 17-1800-tals smycken från Västerbotten.

Modellen till Västerbottensringen kommer från Guldsmeden Carl-Johan Forsberg, född 1815. Guldsmedsmästare år 1846. Han var under sin livstid verksam i Skellefteå och Umeå-trakterna.

Som enda tillverkare av orginalen återtog Burmans 1997 tillverkningen av Västerbottensringen.

Smyckena tillverkas i Sterlingsilver och 18 karat guld.

För att skilja orginalet från kopior skall ringen ha följande stämplar.

Rustic distinctive ornamental shapes, with the notable heart-shape charachterize the 16th and 17th century jewelry from Västerbotten.

The model for Västerbottensringen originates from the gold smith Carl-Johan Forsberg, born in the year 1815. He was mastered at his craft by the year 1846. He lived and worked in the region around Skellefteå and Umeå.

Burmans, as the only manufacturers of the original, started remaking Västerbottensringen in 1997.

The jewelry are made from Sterlingsilver and 18 karat gold.

To discern the originals from copies the ring should have the following stamps.
